PNC Bank

Update:  This entry is for 2006 data.  Please view the updated 2008 entry as well.

The GnuCash wiki has some data for PNC Bank and others, but according to one commenter (below), it does not work as of October 2007.  Can anyone confirm this?

I’ve used the oasis web address for PNC (Pennsylvania, anyway) in the last two weeks. It is not broken. A possible problem is that PNC usually requires a PIN change on first directconnect login. If your software can’t handle a PIN change notice/requirement in the server’s first response, you won’t get through. PNC also charges for at least some of their directconnect service.

Hey Chris, thanks for your helpful comments. 🙂 No, I don’t use PNC bank. I merely pointed to that Gnucash data. Now that I know it doesn’t work, I will update this entry.

And? What does that outdated link have to do with PNC? Even if you’re one of the 4 people who use PNC in Washington D.C., that oasis link is broken.
